BHA along with the Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture (MOAC) is working on developing a new mixed-use affordable housing, affordable music studio and arts spaces in Brighton, right next to BHA’s Faneuil Gardens development.

Private real estate development at 155 North Beacon resulted in a loss of musician rehearsal and recording space. However, negotiations brought nearby 290 North Beacon into public ownership and has been identified as a location for replacement studio space. Due to the property’s proximity to BHA’s Faneuil Gardens, the BHA has been designated as the developer of the site. We are planning to utilize the site to develop new rental apartments, provide replacement music studios, and create other arts and culture spaces.
