IFB # 1648-03 Interior Renovations at All Floors of 52 & 56 Chauncy Street
Note: only prequalified filed sub-contractors and prequalified general contractors from BHA RFQ No. 1648-02 and BHA RFQ No. 1648-02a are eligible to bid for this BHA IFB No. 1648-03.
The Boston Housing Authority (BHA) invites sealed bids for Interior Renovations at All Floors of 52 & 56 Chauncy Street, BHA Job # 1648-03, prepared by STA Design, Inc. The work is estimated at $11,417,753. Bids will be received and publicly opened at the BHA's Procurement Department, 52 Chauncy Street, 6th floor, Boston, MA, 02111. If bidders are to hand-deliver bids, please drop off bids at the Bids/Proposals Drop-Off Box in the lobby of 56 Chauncy Street.
Bids not received by the following times will be rejected:

Filed sub-bid applies to 1) Roofing & Flashing; 2) Glass & Glazing; 3) Acoustical Tile; 4) Resilient Floors; 5) Painting; 6) Fire Protection; 7) Plumbing; 8) HVAC; and 9) Electrical.

The general bid must be DCAMM certified in General Building Construction, and include a 5% bid deposit. The successful general bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. All bids are subject to MGL c. 149, Sections 44A-J.
Wages are subject to minimum wage rates set by the US Department of Labor. All general and filed sub-bidders must follow the BHA's Minority and Women Participation Provision and Resident Employment Provision.
