The Boston Housing Authority (BHA) invites sealed bids for Elevator Comprehensive Modernization at Ruth Barkley Development, BHA Job # 2317-02, prepared by NV5 Planning and Design, Inc. The work is estimated at $9,763,020.00. Bids will be received and publicly opened at the BHA's Contract Office, 52 Chauncy St, 6th floor, Boston, MA, 02111. If bidders are to hand-deliver bids, please drop off bids at the Bids/Proposals Drop-Off Box in the lobby of 52 Chauncy Street.

Bids not received by the following times will be rejected:

The Filed Sub-Bid categories and cost estimates are Misc. Iron ($251,340); Roofing ($124,064); Painting ($84,170); Elevators ($6,120,000); HVAC ($183,760); and Electrical ($916,934).

The general bid must be DCAMM certified in General Building Construction, and include a 5% bid deposit. The successful general bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. All bids are subject to MGL c. 149, Sections 44A-J.

Wages are subject to minimum wage rates set by the US Department of Labor. All general bidders must follow the BHA's Minority and Women Participation Provision and Resident Employment Provision. Email queries regarding BHA bids may be directed to bids@bostonhousing.org.
