IFB # 1914-03 New Roofs, Management Office, and Mailbox/Package Room at Patricia White Apartments
Patricia White Housing Corporation (the “Owner”), which is an instrumentality of the Boston Housing Authority (“BHA”), invites sealed bids for New Roofs, Management Office, and Mailbox/Package Room at Patricia White Apartments, BHA Job # 1914-03, prepared by ICON Architecture. The work is estimated at $3,892,690 (base scope for roof replacement), Add Alternate #1 for mailbox/package room at $585,488, and Add Alternate #2 for management office at $459,047. Bids will be received and publicly opened at the BHA's Procurement Department, 52 Chauncy Street, 6th floor, Boston, MA, 02111. If bidders are to hand-deliver bids, please drop off bids at the Bids/Proposals Drop-Off Box in the lobby of 52 Chauncy Street.
Bids not received by the following times will be rejected:

The general bid must be DCAMM certified in General Building Construction, provides its DCAMM Update Statement, and include a 5% bid deposit. The successful general bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds.
Wages are subject to minimum wage rates set by the US Department of Labor and the Massachusetts Department of Labor Standards. General bidders should assume the higher of Federal Davis Bacon or State Prevailing wages. General bidders must follow the BHA's Minority and Women Participation Provision and Resident Employment Provision.
This Invitation for Bid is issued pursuant to Chapter 268 of the Acts of 2022, which enables alternative procurement methodology for public housing redevelopment. This project does not require filed sub-bidding. General bidders must solicit participation of qualified subcontractors, subject to final approval by the Owner.
