To the greatest extent possible, it is the policy of BHA to give preference in employment to BHA residents, leased housing residents, and low-income persons. As a housing authority, we recognize the historical role that residential racial segregation has played in the City of Boston. The BHA of today and in the future will actively address and dismantle barriers to becoming a diverse, equitable, and inclusive city.

ABOUT THE JOB:
Under the supervision of the Director and/or Assistant Director of Capital Construction Department, the Project Manager acts as the owner's representative in small and large ($1 $20 million) capital improvement projects. The Project Manager is responsible for assessing scope of project, planning architectural and engineering contracts as well as managing construction contracts. With the recent infusion of additional grants and funding sources the BHA has been able to expand its project types to include more larger, holistic, comprehensive modernizations with a particular emphasis on sustainability, de carbonization, accessibility, and overall improved services and living environment for our residents. Now is an exciting time to join the Capital Construction Department at the BHA.
