The Boston Housing Authority sent the following letter to its landlord partners:

Dear Owner/Property Manager:

BHA received confirmation today from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD) that federal funding for December has been approved and shall be
dispersed to BHA next week. BHA now anticipates issuing full HAP payments before
the end of next week. Our finance and program teams are preparing so that
payments can be released as soon as the funds clear.

Please note:
If you received the initial 25% disbursement earlier this week, the remaining
balance will be included in the upcoming check run.
No action is required on your part.
We will issue an additional update if any aspect of the expected timeline
changes.

We appreciate your patience during this temporary disruption and are pleased to be
able to deliver this positive news. Thank you for your continued partnership with the
Boston Housing Authority.
