The Boston Housing Authority is pleased to announce the availabilty of BHA's draft FY2016 Annual Plan for public review. The Annual Plan is a planning tool which also serves as a community guide to the BHA’s goals, policies, programs and activities. It has been developed in conjunction with the Resident Advisory Board (RAB), which is comprised of elected representatives from residents of the Public Housing and Section 8 programs.
As required by Congress and the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the BHA is undergoing a 45-day public review process. A draft of the FY 2016 Annual Plan is available for public review and comment from November 1 through December 15. The draft Plan and supporting documents can be viewed in the Planning Department of the Boston Housing Authority at 52 Chauncy Street, 11th floor during regular business hours, on our website at www.bostonhousing.org and a copy of the Plan will be on reserve in the Copley Square branch of the Boston Public Library. There will be two opportunities to attend a public hearing: December 9th at 11:00 AM at Boston Public Library Copley Square, 700 Boylston Street Commonwealth Salon, Boston, MA 02116 and later the same day at 6:00 P.M. at Boston City Hall, 1 City Hall Plaza, Room 801, (Congress St. entrance only) Boston, MA 02201.
