Welcome to Washington Manor Apartments.
Washington Manor is a warm, welcoming community that offers a variety of living arrangements for low- and moderate-income elderly and disabled persons. Washington Manor offers approximately 77 efficiency and one- bedroom apartments in an eight-story, elevator-equipped building. Built in 1973, Washington Manor − along with Frederick Douglass and Hampton House − is one of the “Three Sisters,” so named because they are identical in design and structure.
We offer many amenities for elderly and disabled individuals, which include emergency pull cords in the bedrooms and bathrooms as well as intercoms in every apartment. We have units that are handicapped accessible and we may modify existing apartments based on Reasonable Accommodation requests.
Residents pay 30 percent of their income towards rent, prorated rent, or a predetermined flat rent.
